Set in the year 2000, the story follows a group of high-school misfits bound together by their band and by their small coastal town that feels stuck in time. But when one of the members vanishes after a show, the group begins to investigate uncovering patterns of lost kids, mysterious folklore, whisperings of a cult, and a long standing tradition.

As a masked killer inspired by the town's fisherman mascot begins hunting them, the teens realize they aren't just witnesses but part of the debt the town expects to be paid. As time runs short, they must uncover these secrets and expose the truth that the town has spent generations refusing to see.
